Sibshops provide siblings with opportunities for peer support. Sibshops give brothers and sisters of children with special needs an opportunity to meet other siblings in a relaxed, recreational setting.  It gives siblings the chance to explore their feelings in creative, light and fun ways. The program uses activities that bring difficult issues to the forefront and lets young people talk about what is usually not talked about. This conversation empowers the siblings to help each other, and in doing so, to help themselves as well.

Sibshops classes will be held on Friday nights in Cary (except the months of June, July and August) for children ages 8 years old through middle school.
